Stanley Cup fever has hit Yellow Cab, a division of the Pittsburgh Transportation Group (PTG), the region’s largest privately-held transportation company.
Special Stanley Cup stickers will be applied to more than 300 Yellow Cabs tomorrow in honor of the Pittsburgh Penguins run for the National Hockey League Championship - the Stanley Cup.
A long-time community advocate and Penguin booster, PTG president and chief executive officer James Campolongo is elated with the Penguins’ success and the economic impact it is having on the city of Pittsburgh.
The sticker reads “We Want the Cup”, Eastern Conference Champions, Go Pens!
The Pittsburgh Transportation Group is presently awaiting Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission approval for the company’s sale to Veolia Transportation, North America’s largest private transportation provider.
